Shell to Sea: Day of Action - 09/11/2007

For Friday 9th November, almost one year since Gardai batoned people protesting the Corrib Gas Project and twelve years since Ken Saro Wiwa and the Ogoni eight were hanged by the Nigerian government, Shell to Sea has called a day of action at Bellanaboy, Co. Mayo.

Shell to Sea are asking people from all around the country to travel to Mayo for the 9th November not just to commerate this day but also to continue the campaign against the robbery of our National Resources, and against a dangerous inland gas refinery being forced onto a community without its consent.

Dublin Shell to Sea are organising a bus to the action which will leave Dublin on Thursday 8th November at 18:30. Tickets cost €25/€30 and can be bought at Connolly Books on East Essex Street or from Sinn Fein Book Shop on Parnell Square West.
